SNOWBOARDER

There’s nothing that has shaped and influenced my life more than this wonderful sport. It’s the foundation of my entire career. Why is that? Because it takes determination to tackle a 25-metre kicker. What’s more, you need both courage and caution when you’re out in the backcountry. Plus, you learn the importance of buddies who push and support each other. And, of course, there’s no better feeling than to leave your tracks in fresh powder :-)

During this time, I gained my first experience in Sales. As a retail purchasing and sales agent, I learned a lot about the needs of end customers. Afterwards, as a sales agent, professional expertise and close retailer relationships were my most important tools for maintaining long-term partnerships.

2000 - 2015

INDUSTRY

15 exciting years with many different stations. I started out as a sales promoter and athlete manager, moving on to trade marketing and product management, where I was responsible for the snowboard business division and all related product categories (boards, boots, bindings, accessories). In 2012, I was given the opportunity to introduce an entirely new product category for Atomic. During the development and launch of Atomic Skiwear, I learned how to position a new product category on the market and how to set up a global distribution system.

true passion for sports

My passion for sports has always been the driving force behind my motivation to find better products and solutions for the consumer. After all, as a professional athlete I was always looking for the best product myself. However, as an ambitious amateur athlete and father of two kids, I was also looking for the most durable and user-friendly solution. My philosophy is to always put the benefit for the user first – whether it’s for newbies or experts.
